Alan Quality Tree Care is owned by Alan Hannum.  Alan found his passion for tree work in 1996 when he took a “temporary job” as a temporary helper at a tree service.   In college, he majored in art with a biology minor but found that the traditional jobs that artists have did not fit his vision of what he wanted to do in his life. This temporary job for a tree service company revealed that he loved working in the tree industry so he changed paths and began to take courses focused on the biology of trees, ecology and forest management.  

As they say, the rest is history.  Alan worked for other tree service companies and gained experience in all aspects of tree work over the years.  He can be a perfectionist so eventually his desire to combine industry innovation with a focus on nurturing the health of trees led him to start his own company.  He obtained his Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture in 2000.

Alan is the owner of this professional tree service company.  His dual role as a small business owner and ISA Certified Arborist lets him advocate for the well being and longevity of the trees while focusing on meeting the safety, maintenance and lifestyle needs of the people he serves.  In order to do this well, he often assumes the role of a referee between trees and the human world. When Alan visits your property to give you a quote for tree work, his experience and knowledge come with him. In fact, if you call for an estimate and your trees do not need tree work, he will be the first to tell you that.  His goal is to share his knowledge about trees along with the practical industry considerations that save your landscape, your time and your money. Helping you keep your trees safe, attractive and healthy is his top priority.
